What Is My IP Address?

Shows the IP address websites see when you connect. Our own server reports the address and takes the country and provider from its own database; no third-party services are involved and we keep no log.

Your public IP Detecting…

What your IP address reveals

Websites and services typically use your IP to estimate your country and city, and to identify your provider or the data center you're connecting from. The IP itself doesn't contain your name, but combined with other data it's commonly used for tracking and ad targeting.

If you're connected to a VPN, you should see the VPN server's IP address here, not the one assigned by your internet provider.

Want to show a different IP?

404 VPN routes you through its own server, websites see the server's IP instead of your real one, and traffic along the way is encrypted.
